My name is Carol Bauer and I am the owner of Designs Sew Fine
I live in Central Minnesota with my husband, Earl.
I started my business
(formerly Alpha-Scan) in October 1993 - and in November 1997 I became
"Designs Sew Fine.
For the first 2+ years in
business,
I also held a full-time job. I spent my evenings and weekends working on my
business.
In February 1996, I quit my full-time job and now spend 10+ hours a day on
my business.
When I look back now, I can't imagine how I managed both.
I am married to the most wonderful man. His job moved us to Nebraska
from central Minnesota
in January, 1986. After spending 14 years in Lincoln, Nebraska, he was able
to take early retirement in
August, 1999 and we moved "back home."
We have four grown
children (3 boys and 1 girl) and 6 very precious grandchildren.
We are so thankful that we are now able to spend more time with them.
